Day of Caring

Mark Your Calendars!

The 23rd Annual Day of Caring is Wednesday, August 6, 2025

It’s time to celebrate the 23rd Annual Day of Caring, the premiere volunteer-engagement day in Livingston County. Last year 55 projects were run, with over 750 volunteers participating. We anticipate engaging more worksites and even more volunteers this year.

Sponsorship Opportunity!

We invite you to consider a sponsorship to help support purchasing special project materials for worksites where the resident lacks the financial means necessary for their specific project needs. Our goal is to expand the level of support provided last year to even more residents and organizations.

Sponsorship levels range from $500-$15,000. To learn more contact Amber Schroeder at aschroeder@lcunitedway.org, or call 810-494-3000.

Submit A Project Request

Deadline to Submit a Project Request is Sunday, June 15, 2025

Every year the Livingston County United Way collects worksite proposals from local residents, seniors, schools, churches, disabled residents and non-profit agencies. The work is often minor household repairs/projects, cleaning and yard work that the homeowner is not able to do on their own. Anyone can recommend a worksite and is encouraged to apply for a neighbor or friend who needs extra help.

Register to Volunteer

Deadline to Register as a Volunteer is Monday, June 30, 2025

Volunteers are invited to register individually or as groups. Companies, clubs and organizations are invited and encouraged to participate together. What better way to showcase a company’s volunteer spirit while making a difference. Bolster employee morale through team building and connecting individuals to their community.
