Senior Centers

This past year, 5,370 seniors participated in Livingston County United Way supported health and wellness programs through their local senior centers. Research shows that senior center programs positively impact participants physical, social, emotional, and mental health, as well as their economic well-being.

Substance Abuse Initiative

In light of rising heroin and opiate-addiction concerns, several local substance abuse-related initiatives and prevention programs are gathering under one umbrella, with the goal of greater efficiency, effectiveness, and positive impact on the community. Research shows that senior center programs positively impact participants physical, social, emotional and mental health, as well as their economic well-being.
